Barmedman Triumphs: Reaching the District Play-Off Finals
Our dedicated local team successfully navigated the qualifiers to earn their rightful place in the pennants.
Evolving from a modest group of 14, Barmedman Bowling Club has seen a vibrant resurgence. Driven by Andrew Stewart’s recruitment efforts, our roster grew to 21 committed players. This expansion brought a new wave of passion to our greens, transforming us from quiet participants into spirited competitors who carry our town's name with immense pride.
Reflecting on a Stellar Season
The 2026 season stands as a testament to our collective grit and unity. Our bowlers displayed incredible resilience in every end, maintaining a high standard of play throughout the year. This achievement reflects the dedication of our entire membership, proving that our small community can hold its own against the region's most formidable teams.
Victory at Weethalle Green
Overcoming the reigning title-holders on their own turf was a Defining milestone for us. This landmark win has cemented our reputation and garnered respect across the regional circuit.
2027 Horizons
While we fell short against Tumbarumba in a tough 46-89 regional pennant battle, this journey established a new foundation for our future. The Barmedman community is profoundly grateful for the grit shown by every player. We stand tall, immensely proud of our 2026 efforts, and eagerly anticipate taking these lessons into the 2027 season as we continue to grow our local bowling legacy together.
