Victory Secured: Barmedman Clinches District Play-Off Spot

From rebuilding our roster to local heroes, we have triumphed in the crucial round to claim our pennant glory.

Not long ago, Barmedman Bowling Club faced a quiet green and low membership. Thanks to the community spirit and recruitment efforts led by Andrew Stewart, we transformed from a small squad of 14 to a powerful team of 21. This growth in numbers brought a new energy to our club, turning us from underdogs into genuine contenders ready to represent our town with pride.

2026 Season: A Remarkable Triumph

Our journey through the 2026 season has been nothing short of spectacular. With a consistent run of form and unwavering dedication, the team fought through every end to stay at the top. This victory is a testament to the hard work of every member, proving that our small-town grit can achieve incredible success against the toughest competition in the region.

The Defining Win At Weethalle

Facing the defending champions on their home turf was our greatest test. By overcoming this final hurdle, we have proven our strength and earned the respect of the entire bowling fraternity.

The Road Ahead

By winning this high-stakes round, Barmedman has officially secured a place in the district play-offs. We now prepare to face the best from Wagga Wagga, Riverina, and beyond in the Murray–Riverina Regional Grade 7 finals. This is a historic moment for our town, and as we look toward the NSW State Finals, the excitement across the community is electric. We carry the pride of Barmedman with us to every match.
